Helping Individuals Living with Muscular Dystrophy

Our agency is raising awareness and support for individuals and families living with Muscular Dystrophy. We are vested in promoting the well-being of those living with this rare disorder that is characterized and starts with weakness and wasting of the muscles in pelvic area and shoulder muscles. This is a progressive disease that eventually affects other muscles in the body.

“The prevalence is estimated to be 1 in every 3,500 live male births. The age of onset is usually between 3 and 5 years of age. The muscular dystrophies as a whole are estimated to affect 250,000 individuals in the United States.”  We want to support innovations in treatments and improved the quality of life for patients living with Muscular Dystrophy.

As a result, we have dedicated our agency’s efforts to support the ongoing efforts of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Doing so, we hope to alleviate some of the daily struggles faced by individuals with this condition and their families. We also have a goal to provide an increased understanding and acceptance of this disorder.
